5 Holiday Songs to Lift Your Spirits
January 8, 2021
One of the best ways to get into the holiday spirit is by listening to holiday songs. Obviously, everyone has their favorites from Winter Wonderland by Michael Buble to Last Christmas by George Michael, but I think it is the underrated songs that are really festive. No doubt we can all appreciate a Michael Buble Christmas classic, but I think it’s time to start branching out. Here is a list of five holiday songs that you need to listen to before December 25th rolls around:
- Jingle Bell Trap
Even if trap music typically isn’t for you, I would definitely recommend giving this a try. This song is a very upbeat and fast version of the classic Jingle Bells song that we all know and love. I suggest putting this song on a winter workout playlist to keep you pushing through tough workouts.
- Santa Baby, by Ariana Grande ft. Liz Gillies
You might be familiar with the normal version of Santa Baby, but have you heard the version with Liz Gillies? It is very interesting to hear the combination of the two voices throughout this song. This version is so underrated and is definitely a must-listen this season.
- Drummer Boy, by Justin Bieber
Whether you can admit it or not, we can all appreciate a Justin Bieber song. This is a fun throwback from 2011 that brings you right into the holiday spirit. I think we can all agree that the original Drummer Boy is a little slow; this version, however, is quite the opposite.
- Christmas the Whole Year Round, by Sabrina Carpenter
This song is definitely one that many people have not heard of, but it is so underrated. This song is very upbeat and catchy. If you add it to your playlist you will find yourself singing it all day!
- Last Christmas, by Taylor Swift
We all know the classic song Last Christmas by George Michael, but no doubt Taylor Swift’s version takes this song to the next level. This song is a staple for all Taylor Swift fans.
