It was a happy moment not only for the adoring parents, but also for the baby’s grandparents. Prince Charles and his wife Camilla said in a statement “”Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of my first grandchild. It is an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine, and we are so thrilled for them on the birth of their baby boy”.
Most of all, the people of England rejoiced in the birth of the new baby. British Prime Minister David Cameron told CNN “I’m sure that right across the country and indeed right across the commonwealth, people will be celebrating and wishing the royal couple well”.
The birth of a baby is a typical event, but took the news by storm. Junior Tanios Abisaad said “it’s cool that something as peaceful as the birth of a baby could make international news instead of just the usual negative stories we hear in the media”.
It was not just adults that were excited by the birth. Scituate High School junior, and royal family enthusiast, Kendra Miller also expressed her delight over the recent birth saying “the new baby represents a new generation of royals who are model figures for society”.
Kate Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge, well known for her relatable personality is ensuring her child is raised in the most normal way possible.
