Charlotte’s Styles

Kat English, Managing Editor

If you’re looking for fashion inspiration from a fellow classmate, look on Instagram for @stylesbychar to find senior Charlotte Falvey’s newest outfits. With a “passion for fashion,” Falvey decided to begin @stylesbychar on the first day of her senior year. After following many girls who run similar fashion Instagram accounts, Falvey thought it would be something “fun to do” that relates to her future plans. She describes her style as “classic,” while adding some of her own exciting “embellishments.”

A follower, friend, and fan, senior Colleen Quinn enjoys seeing Falvey’s daily outfits. As a friend of Falvey, Quinn followed the account when it began. Quinn describes Falvey’s fashion as “bold and unique,” with Falvey able to pull off, making any outfit look cute. With a reputation for being “good at fashion,” Falvey tags where her clothes are from. Quinn loves this aspect because she sees her outfits at school and can check the Instagram to see where each aspect of the outfit is from.

Falvey’s “dream job” is to work in the fashion industry. Outside of managing her Instagram, Falvey’s small step to a job in fashion are rooted in CT Outfitters. A local outfitter shop in North Scituate, CT Outfitters has an Instagram account that Falvey also helps in managing and posting. With this job, Falvey enjoys being around clothes and “seeing other people enjoying clothing.” As she embarks on college next fall, Falvey says “the goal” is to continue this exciting hobby for her and her friends.
