Senior Sleigh Ride: Cassidy Grant is a Student Role Model
December 15, 2022
Senior Cassidy Grant is a hardworking and conscientious student at Scituate High School. Known for her kindness and sharp intellect, one of the many ways Grant represents her enthusiasm is through her participation in the Environmental Club and the Community Service Club.
When asked about her leadership role as the team captain of the SHS volleyball team, Grant said her favorite memory was winning this year’s Senior Night game. Grant explained: “I am a senior and wanted to do something memorable.”
In addition to her athletic pursuits, Grant is a committed AP student. When asked about her most challenging course, Grant responded, “AP Spanish because it is a different language and is difficult to learn.”
This year, Grant’s favorite class is AP Environmental Science with SHS science teacher Charlie O’Driscoll because it is “interesting and fun to break down.”
While Grant has no regrets about SHS, she very much enjoyed junior year because “it was the first time coming back since COVID.” When asked what her plans after high school, Grant said she would like to attend a college in New England and study environmental science.
