All around the South Shore, new businesses have brought new products and services to the community. Sometimes the new addition of businesses can be difficult to keep up with, so we visited various new businesses to fill you in on places to visit!
One of the newest locations we visited was the fun, upbeat, and cheerful tea store Sweet Mouse Cafe Boba Tea! Located at 124 King Street in Cohasset, this cafe offers a range of delicious products from coffee and boba tea all the way to shaved ice! The store is full of bright colors and games to play while waiting for your drinks or treats. When we visited this location, we were instantly greeted by the workers. They worked diligently to make our order perfect for our acquired taste. While waiting for our drinks, we were able to keep ourselves busy by admiring the fun decor in the store and playing games on the various tables and couches they have available for customers. In addition to the great service, they also provide a card with the chance to get a free drink after 10 visits! This store offers great service, delicious products, and a fun experience!
The next location we visited was down the street in Cohasset Harbor on Main Street called Second2None Consignments. When we entered the store, we were instantly greeted by the owner, Lisa Alzaim. Alzaim opened this store one year ago, but she previously owned a fashion and furniture consignment store on Merchant Row, in Hanover. Alzaim, who has extensive consignment knowledge, moved to this location to take on the fashion side of consignment directly. The store is full of upscale products ranging from Michael Kors to Louis Vuitton, and leather boots to mink coats. When asked how she gets the products for her boutique, she explained that items come in from other consignment stores and people bringing in products in high demand for the particular seasons. Alzaim said she donates any products that have a long shelf life to Cardinal Cushing, homeless shelters, and other donation centers that some of her customers recommend.
Alzaim said she enjoys being located in Cohasset Village due to the high number of businesses owned by women who have all been so caring and helpful in supporting her business.
