Senior Alessandra (Allie) Ryan (she/her) is heading into her senior year at SHS excited to continue serving the community. Known for her unwavering commitment, her approachable personality, and her cheerful attitude, Ryan is a valuable addition to The Scituation staff. While Ryan looks forward to participating in the various senior-specific events this year, she is thrilled further to understand the journalistic writing process as a staff writer.

Ryan simply does not stop–on Saturdays, you will find her working at Scituate’s Coffee Corner. During the week, she teaches dance lessons to young children and also serves as a Student Council Officer. Ryan is also an avid traveler. Having already visited 11 countries, she believes she has learned valuable lessons that have helped deepen her critical thinking skills.

Ryan is particularly interested in history classes here at SHS–her favorite classes include AP Psychology, AP United States Government, and Sociology. Looking ahead, Ryan looks forward to attending a four-year college and hopes to study political science, with a potential focus on education.
