Anna Kelly, Opinion Editor
Ready to tackle her senior year at Scituate High School, Anna Kelly (she/her) is joining Advanced Journalism as an opinion editor for The Scituation. During her junior year, Kelly demonstrated her passion for writing by submitting opinion essays for publication, and this year, she looks forward to helping students at SHS find their voice through journalism.
Known for her friendly personality, Kelly is an ambitious student leader. Looking at school through the lens of possibility, Kelly strives for excellence inside and outside of school. Her involvement in Model United Nations is a direct reflection of her interests in writing and government. Kelly’s induction into the National Honor Society and her Excellence in English award are products of her dedication and commitment to success.
Pushing herself to her full potential, Kelly was also named captain of the track team for two consecutive years. Her impressive ability to balance extracurricular activities and school work has contributed to her goal of studying biochemistry in college.
Kelly hopes to inspire others through her work with The Scituation. She wants her peers to be able to accomplish any goals they have set for themselves in and out of Scituate High School. As an encouraging leader, Kelly is a promising member of The Scituation team this year.
