Ellie Snow, Co-Editor-in-Chief

Starting her second year on The Scituation team, senior Ellie Snow (she/her) is looking forward to another great year of journalism. As a Co-Editor-in-Chief this year, Snow hopes to create a positive and comfortable environment for The Scituation staff.

With Snow’s roles as Secretary of the SHS National Honor Society and member of the Spanish Honor Society, it’s evident academics are a clear priority. Making High Honor Roll throughout her entire high school career thus far, this year’s Co-Editor-in-Chief is determined to carry her strong work ethic to college as she applies to schools in the U.S and abroad.

Outside of school, Snow can be found playing guitar, spending time with family and friends, and walking her dog, Gigi. After a long day of school or work, she turns to TV, music, and movies to unwind. Snow hopes to focus more of her writing this year on her thoughts and reviews on a variety of music and film, as she believes these topics will spark a great deal of engagement from her classmates. Snow’s ultimate passions lie heavily in her love for English and travel, as she hopes to eventually find a career path that combines the two.

Helping to lead The Scituation this year, Snow has high hopes for what the team will accomplish. Primarily, she plans to build a strong community within the Honors Journalism class, where all members feel accepted, appreciated, and inspired to pursue forward-thinking stories with passion. Known around SHS as an exceptional writer with a sunny disposition, Snow is sure to make this year’s publication one of The Scituation’s finest.
