After completing Introduction to Journalism, junior Jocelyn Finney (she/her) is eager to expand her writing skills and provide a fresh perspective to The Scituation. Known for her kind, outgoing, and hardworking personality, she is the perfect addition to the writing team. 

Finney is excited to take part in her anatomy and physiology class. Many of her peers can attest that she is invested in scientific courses. After graduating from high school, she plans to go on to college to study biology with a pre-med track, with dreams of becoming a nurse. 

Finney enjoys playing for the varsity field hockey team at SHS and goes out of her way to contribute to the community by volunteering to coach young field hockey prodigies. Due to her dedication to the sport, she earned the Coaches Award for the 2023 field hockey season.
