Kate McCormack is a senior at Scituate High School and is a staff writer for the Scituation.  She enjoys running, going to the beach, stand up paddle boarding, and shopping.  Kate also serves as secretary for the school’s Student Council and participates in a variety of clubs and activities including Model United Nations and Best Buddies.  In the summer Kate works at Nantasket beach in Hull Massachusetts as a lifeguard which she loves because she gets to spend all day at the beach.  During the winter Kate loves to go snowboarding with family and friends at Cranmore Mountain in North Conway, New Hampshire.  She also takes pride in her academic career and is a member of National Honor Society, National French Honor Society, and also National History Honor Society.  Kate is very excited about her senior year and is looking forward to all of the great opportunities that come with being part of the Scituation staff.
