Katherine von Freymann, Staff Writer
SHS senior Katherine (Katie) von Freymann is excited to be a staff writer for The Scituation. Described by her peers as humorous, hard-working, and friendly, von Freymann is a respected student-athlete who looks forward to writing engaging stories of interest to the students at Scituate High School.
von Freymann has demonstrated an interest in biology, anatomy, Spanish, and psychology. Outside of the classroom, she is a field hockey captain, co-president of Allies not Bystanders, a student government representative, and a member of Best Buddies, S.T.A.A.R., track and field, and Model United Nations.
A valued member of the National Honor Society and the World Language Honor Society, von Freymann received the Spanish Seal of Biliteracy. Also known for her athletic skills, she was named a Patriot League All-Star three times and received accolades as a Patriot League All-Scholastic.
With plans to attend Colby College in Waterville, Maine, von Freymann looks forward to playing field hockey and majoring in biology on the pre-veterinary track.
