Scituate High School senior Madison (Maddie) Quirk (she/her) is looking forward to continuing her work with journalism during her final year here at SHS as a staff writer for The Scituation. She’s eager to share her ideas and opinions with the hopes of engaging SHS students. Driven by her passion for writing, Quirk remarked that it’s her goal to publish as many stories as possible this year.

As an incredibly kind, funny, and outgoing student, it’s hard not to know Maddie. You can catch her on the soccer field, serving as a senior captain for the 2024 season, running the track in the Reggie Lewis Center, or on the tennis courts this spring. 

As a member of Allies Not Bystanders, Best Buddies, and a representative for the Class of 2025 student government, Quirk is an asset to the SHS community. She is also a National Honor Society inductee because of her academic excellence, which is driven by a passion for subjects like business, English, and psychology.
