Samantha Roman, Sports Editor

In addition to being a dedicated student journalist, Samantha Roman (she/her) is a three-season athlete. Excelling in soccer, winter track, and tennis, Roman holds captain positions in her sports. As one of this year’s sports editors for The Scituation, Roman will also be able to demonstrate her leadership skills in the classroom through this role.

Roman is a very joyful, helpful, and funny person who enjoys math and science. A member of the National Honor Society, she earned a math award during her freshman year for her excellence in the subject.

Roman’s goals for after high school include attending college somewhere in the South because of the consistent warm weather. She would also like to visit many regions of the world, including Australia, South America, and Europe. Roman is an outstanding student-athlete who will undoubtedly be doing amazing things throughout her senior year and beyond.
