Sydney Washburn, Photographer/ Staff Writer
Sydney Washburn (She/Her) is thrilled to start her senior year at SHS. Sydney returns to The Scituation for her second year looking to write stories that are interesting and relevant to the Scituate community. She has a nose for a story and an eye for the camera, as she is taking on the role as photographer for the team.
This friendly, adventurous, and personable student is a member of the National Honor Society and the French Honor Society. She is also a captain on both the girls’ soccer and tennis teams. When Washburn isn’t at SHS, she is most likely spending time with her family and friends. A multi-talented scholar, Washburn enjoys painting, surfing, and traveling.
Washburn is looking forward to balancing school and sports while making the most of her last year at SHS. Hoping to attend college before traveling and helping communities worldwide in one way or another, Washburn can accomplish anything she puts her mind to post-high school. Washburn is poised to do great things this year and will bring her contagious enthusiasm to The Scituation.
