Thygeson Smith, Staff Writer
Senior Thygeson (Tyger) Smith (he/him) is eager to start his first year at The Scituation as a staff writer. Smith took an interest in Advanced Journalism because he enjoys writing and saw the class as fun. He hopes to reach a wide audience with exciting stories.
Known as friendly and outgoing, Smith is highly involved at SHS. Smith plays lacrosse and basketball and is a member of the Student Government. Impressively, Smith was inducted into the National Honors Society for his superior grades and involvement. In school, Smith especially favors math and history classes. Outside of School, Smith interned at a nonprofit over the summer and works at Shaws as well.
As for after Scituate High School, Smith hopes to get into a good college and potentially pursue a math-related major. The Scituation is happy to have him and believes he will be an excellent extension to the team!
